Travel Vaccination Program
Chilton Memorial Hospital's Travel Vaccination Program offers a comprehensive and affordable means for safe and convenient travel around the world. Available vaccines include Varicella (Chickenpox), Hepatitis A or Hepatitis B Immune Globulin, Hepatitis B, Japanese Encephalitis, Measles-Mumps-Rubella, Meningococcal Meningitis, Pneumovax, Polio, Rabies, Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids, Pertussis, Typhoid Fever and Yellow Fever. In addition, prescriptions for antibiotic prophylaxis, when indicated, will be provided to those traveling to endemic areas for malaria and traveler's diarrhea.

To schedule an appointment, please call the Occupational Health Center at (973) 831-5116, one to four months prior to planned travel. The Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is also recommended to provide:
  • A complete list of travel destinations
  • Vaccination history
  • Advance notification to ensure ample time for administration of vaccines and other medications needed to provide a safe and rewarding trip
