Dr. Vadim Gritsus
Vadim Gritsus, M.D.
Vadim Gritsus, M.D. is a Founder and Director of Center of Excellence Bariatric Surgery at Chilton Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gritsus is a Board Certified Physician and a Diplomate of American College of Surgery. He received his degree of Doctor of Medicine from Pavlov Medical University in St. Petersburg, Russia. He completed his residency training in General and Laparoscopic Surgery at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/ Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gritsus advanced his training in Minimally Invasive weight loss procedures at Albert Einstein Medical College in New York.

To date, Dr. Gritsus has personally performed over 1000 bariatric and other advanced minimally invasive procedures, including recently introduced innovative scarless surgery. Dr. Gritsus was the first surgeon to introduce Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass and Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Band procedures at Chilton Memorial Hospital. Under the direction of Dr. Gritsus, the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery have recently designated Chilton Memorial Hospital as a Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery.

His philosophy and motto in the treatment of obesity are to provide the least traumatic surgical approach with the most clinical benefit. Christopher Kollar, D.O.
Dr. Christopher Kollar, DO is a leading surgeon in the field of laparoscopic surgery with advanced training in laparoscopic techniques. He has been in practice since 1992 and has been performing major laparoscopic surgeries since that time.

Dr. Kollar performs all types of General and Minimally Invasive surgery as well as Bariatric surgery. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Kollar graduated from UMDNJ-NJSOM (University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Society of Oncology Managers) in 1987 with a degree in Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as senior class president. He then became the chief intern at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. Dr. Kollar completed his surgical residency in 1992, and as a surgical resident, was involved with the start of laparoscopic surgery in the field of General Surgery. He was the Director of Bariatrics at Pascack Valley and Jersey City Medical Center. He has served as the Director of the Emergency Room at Saddle Brook Hospital.
